We recently had dinner at Haferkasten and, as always, weren't disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious 😊 A very nice atmosphere, especially in the summer evenings during one of the concerts, you feel very comfortable. It's always a great experience for the kids, too, with the animals on site. We'll definitely be back!😋

On a beautiful summer day, we had the pleasure of concluding our official outing with a delicious lunch in the cool shade of the trees. The location is in a rural setting with horses and donkeys for visitors to admire. There were about 80 of us, and everyone had plenty of space in the shade. The service was exemplary—friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, and there was something for both meat-eaters and vegans. Refills were constantly provided, and everyone left satisfied. Many thanks to our colleagues from the Freiburg Environmental Protection Office for the wonderful hospitality.

I ordered and picked up my food there. I can't say much about the atmosphere, but it looked very cozy 👍🏼 The food was really delicious, and the portions were very large! They even threw in a free bottle of wine! The service was very friendly. I'll definitely order from there again, or maybe even eat in!

Beautiful interior design in the conservatory, with a view of the riding arena from the restaurant. Friendly service and good food. In the summer, there's certainly a lovely beer garden. Donkeys and goats in front of the house.

We were looking for a restaurant with all-day hot meals and found exactly what we were looking for at Haferkasten. Haferkasten is located right next to a riding stable, but it's by no means just a canteen for hungry riders. The service was extremely friendly. The food was very, very good and arrived quite quickly. The shady beer garden is very cozy, even if you can still manage the horses a little bit. You saved our afternoon! Thank you so much!

I've eaten there several times over the years. And I have to say, if you like authentic German home cooking, this is the place for you. Our food arrived hot and quickly. The restaurant is attached to a riding arena, and you can watch the riders while you eat. It's definitely a nice treat for horse lovers. The place is lovingly decorated and has a warm feel to it. Our server, Steffi, was super friendly and incredibly attentive. Eating like you're at a friend's house, I'd say. The meal itself was great. No frills, just a large portion of delicious food. A bit much for me, but no one is forcing you to finish your entire plate. And of course, you can have the leftovers packed up. My fried potatoes, Brägele, were delicious and worth the extra money. And finally, a few words about the prices. My meal in the picture was worth every cent. Apparently, the tax increase wasn't passed on to the customers. I'll definitely go back, because it's precisely these kinds of places that deserve to be supported. Definitely an insider tip in winter.

Everything was perfect! I pre-ordered via Lieferando. According to the app, they weren't open until 4:30 PM. Delivery arrived at 4:20 PM!!! Fruit and a bottle of wine as a gift. Excellent as always!

We were here for lunch today with 13 people (9 adults and 4 children). We had a reservation, and the food was beautifully prepared for us. The service was friendly and prompt. They accommodated all our requests, and the drinks and food arrived very quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. The value for money was excellent in every respect. 👍.
